Research focus: Systematics and ecology of amphibians and reptiles in Southeast Asia

Dr. Attapol Rujirawan
Attapol joined the lab as a M.Sc. student in 2010 and is now a lecturer at Department of Zoology, Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University. His research focuses on taxonomy and systematics of species complexes of amphibians and reptiles using integrative approaches (morphology, genetics and bioacoustics).

Dr. Siriporn Yodthong
Siriporn joined the lab in 2011 and is now a posdoctoral researcher of the same lab. She has experience working on population genetics of some rhacophorids in Thailand for her M.Sc. thesis. She focuses on cryptic species of amphibians and some reptiles.

Dr. Natee Ampai
Natee joined the lab in 2012 as a M.Sc. student in 2011 and is now a lecturer at Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, Srinakharinwirot University. His research focuses on taxonomy and systematics of species complexes of geckos.

Korkhwan Termprayoon
Korkhwan joined the lab since 2012 as a M.Sc. student and is now a Ph.D. candidate in Program of Zoology, Department of Zoology, Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University. Her research focused on ecology and systematics of the Bent-toed geckos Cyrtodactylus.

Akrachai Aksornneam
Akrachai joined the lab in 2017 and finished M.Sc. in Zoology Programan.He is now a Ph.D. in the same lab. His research focused on ecology of reptiles in western Thailand.

Lab Alumni
Dr. Somphouthone Phimmachak
She finished her Ph.D. in Zoology Program from Faculty of Science, KU in 2015 and is now a lecturer at Department of Biology, National University of Laos. She has been working on systematics and ecology of amphibians, especially newts in Laos.

Dr. Sengvilay Seateun
Sengvilay joined the ARRL in 2014. She received her M.Sc. degree with Dr. Niane Sivongxay (National University of Laos) and Dr. Bryan Stuart (North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences). She finished her Ph.D. in Zoology Program at KU and her dissertation focused on ecology of the Asian leaf turtle. She now works at Department of Biology, National University of Laos.

Piyawan Phuanprapai
Piyawan joined the lab since she was an undergraduate student. She finished her M.Sc. in Zoology Program at KU. Her research focused on phylogeographic patterns of local populations of some ranid frogs in Thailand.

Vattikorn Sophonrat
Vattikorn was an undergraduate student in Zoology Program, Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University. For the research project, he worked on habitat utilization of amphibians and reptiles in a protected area in northeastern Thailand.

Nuttapol Bowonboon
Nuttapol was an undergraduate student in Zoology Program, Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University. He worked on food partitioning of sympatric skinks in northeastern Thailand.

Jamorn Paisarnjit-a-thorn
Jamon was an undergraduate student in Zoology Program, Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University. He worked on habitat use of lizards in northeastern Thailand.

Sarana Hansuwandumrong
Sarana was an undergraduate student in Zoology Program, Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University. He worked on morphology of skink in northeastern Thailand.
